Pheh It Hao was born and raised in Penang, Malaysia. In 1991, he landed in England, in persuit of a degree in Fine Art at The Surrey Institute of Art and Design, University College. Came back to his mother country, after a long and extensive tour of Europe, worked as a curator at Elle Six Art Gallery for four years. Now, he and his family live in Adelaide, Australia.
