Art Exhibition 2

As usual, Lizard was on time for the opening of the exhibition. There were about 60 guests, may be more, many familiar faces. Philip Wong, the soul of Artseni Gallery, was always full of energy, moving about meeting, greeting his guests. It is always good to see him, such a wonderful person. May God bless him always.

The five artists in front of the guests, from the left, are Ng Foo Cheong, Zainal Abidin Musa, Soon Lai Wai, Lim Ah Cheng and Pheh It Hao. The well-known senior artist Peter Liew missed the opening because he has other appointments.

The tittle of the exhibition is “Big Painting Art Exhibition 2008”, there were not many paintings to view, but, they were really impressive.

Lizard tried his best to take photos of the paintings, don’t think they are good though. Pay the gallery a visit and see the real things, it will worth your while. The gallery is on the MUSE floor of StarHill, Jalan Bukit Bintang, KL.

Lets start with Ng Foo Cheong’s work:

Rising of Great Power. Mixed Medium on Canvas. 426cm x 152cm. 2008. RM125,000/=

Can you feel the size of the painting? So imposing!

Next, Zainal Abidin Musa’s work :

Kuah Langkawi. Acrylic on Canvas. 423cm x 213cm. 2008. RM88,000/=

By the look of it, heaven must be on earth.

Look at Soon Lai Wai’s painting, the longgest one among them:

My Lotus Garden 25. Oil on Canvas. 441cm x 122cm. 2008. RM62,000/=

Really feeling like walking pass a garden full of lotus. Love it.

Next, Lim Ah Cheng’s forever buoyant spirit :

Flying with the Wind 13. Oil on Canvas. 2008. RM38,000/=

Flying with the Wind 15. Oil on Canvas. 2008. RM6,800/=

Can you feel the horses flying by?

Now we look at Pheh It Hao’s piece of work telling the story of love:

The Love Song. Oil on Canvas. 396cm x 170cm. 2008. RM52,000/=

Sorry, you have to go to the painting to see the details. Simply delicate, but firm. By the way, the charming girl beside Mr. Pheh is Lizard’s wife.

The painting on the left in the next photo belongs to Peter Liew :

Myanmar Golden Triangle. Oil on Canvas. 152cm x 396cm. 2008. Rm138,000/=

Go nearer to the painting, experience the strokes of the artist and feel the impact of the work.

Lizard is not going to show you all the paintings in the gallery, he insists that you go to the gallery to have a good time. Go, go, go….

Thank you, Philip Wong, and wish you all the best.

( If there is any mistakes in this posting, it is not intentional. Please refer to the gallery for actual details. Thank you.)

Hi, most people call me Lizard, some call me by my surname Yeo.

Welcome to my world! May my creations bring you encouragement,

inspiration, wisdom and joy for life. I’m not an artist. I’m an art lover

and promoter. I’m doing what I love and love what I’m doing.

By sharing my ideas and concepts with artists of different fields,

many posters and original calligraphic works in English and Chinese

were created. I believe the creations are unique, because

I never want to be a shadow of anyone. I’m committed, with the helps

of willing artists, to create and promote works of art with cultural

and functional values. They are to be companions to my customers

that encourage, inspire and bring joy into their lives. And I hope

they too will do the same to the people they know, care and love.

Stay with me! Tell someone about lizardyeo.wordpress.com,

help to bring rainbows into his/her life!

My motto : SET THE TRAIL. CREATE THE PATH.

Thank You.
